This feast is a great opportunity to remind our readers of a stirring piece of literature ... G. K. Chesterton's epic poem Lepanto. The poem commemorates the miraculous victory of Don Juan and the Catholic fleet over the Turks in 1571; a victory obtained through the intercession of Our Lady and a rosary crusade preached throughout Christendom by Pope St. Pius V.
