You know that saying about the devil being in the details? Well, around here he is more than just in details; somehow, he got into our server! We regret to tell you that our June issue ... just a click or two away from print and publication, was somehow deleted from the server where it is stored! Needless to say, this was a shock to staff members who went looking for it to print yesterday. Despite a frantic search, and without any reasonable explanation, the document has completely vanished. Thankfully we still have all the submissions and artwork, and can re-build the magazine. But it means we'll be well behind our June 1st publication date. At the moment, we're hoping to be ready by June 8th ... but it might be later yet, as many of our staff members are dealing with final exams and graduation/end of year activities. We'll do our best ... but pray for us!!
And, really, it must be a good sign. If the devil hates our magazine enough to create such problems, then we must be doing something good! Blessed be God!
Either the devil is mad as a hornet because of the content of this issue; or maybe some heavenly being is enamored with it and is passing it from Saint to Seraphim. The cause of the delay is arbitrary. The effect can be most salutary. It IS all in the details. It could be the lifeline for someone who will read it only because it WAS delayed. Throw your line with assurance. For your voice to be heard, you must have valor. Great articles, great columns, great read. Thank you and go with God.
